The Puffin’s Burrow is a small business based in Aberdeen, set up by Ella in 2020. Ella is a seabird ecologist by day, ceramic artist by night. Regardless of the medium Ella works in; her practice focuses on our connection to nature and wildlife. She loves bringing the experiences she has had working with Scottish wildlife to her art.
Ella’s ceramic practice focuses on creating functional pieces using wheel-throwing and hand-building. Every piece is intricately decorated, with a focus on the use of sgraffito, sculpting, print making, and illustrating.
