Compass Rose Studio
Compass Rose Studio was created by Ruth McEvilly in 2014 and is situated in a rural idyll with stunning views over the Aberdeenshire countryside.
Scottish tweeds designed by Ruth during her years working as a textile designer are combined with Celtic knotwork printed linen and embellished with machine embroidery, to create a unique range of distinctive cushions, accessories and artwork for the home.
With a passion for woven fabric and the geometry of Celtic knot work the studio is working on different ways to link the two and produce contemporary pieces
