Lisa Rooney studied Ceramics at Edinburgh College of art from 2001-2005 and went onto exhibit her ceramic dogs and vases in galleries throughout Scotland and even London. After four years sharing a ceramic studio in Dundee she decided to embark on a teacher training course at the University of Dundee. After several years of teaching art in Primary schools in the East Neuk she decided she wanted to create her own work again. Lisa decided to enrol on a laser cutting course in Edinburgh and then left teaching in primary schools to set up her own business after purchasing her own laser and is now creating laser cut homewares. She is inspired by Scandi and retro floral design while exploring screen printing to bring her love of colour into her work. She enjoys creating large decorative items for the home that you would not find on the high street.
