Gilli B studied illustration and printmaking at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design..... more than a few years ago!!

Using mixed media and adding a touch of sparkle whenever she can, Gilli creates fun and colourful illustrations from her studio based in the Kingdom of Fife. Her portfolio is a mixture of wee whimsical character illustrations, animal portraits, coastal inspired artwork and life drawing. Gilli is also the illustrator of the picture book, “Leo and The Lightning Dragons”, written by Gill White.

Gilli loves to draw, loves to paint and loves to chat! However, when she is working in her studio, she is in her own wee world and it is the only time she is quiet!! Inspired by everyday life, memories and those chats is when her ideas are created.

Some people look at Gilli’s work and admire it, some people giggle and some have cried..... happy tears. This is what Gilli loves about creating her illustrations and artwork as it can have a different meaning to each individual.

As well as original artwork, Gilli’s work is available as greeting cards, prints and illustrated products including pocket mirrors and coasters and is available for commissions.
