erin.rhode.workshop
Erin makes abstract mono-print and collage artworks full of colour, texture and joy! She holds ‘creative curiosity, community and nature’ at the core of 'erin.rhode.workshop' and in turn her artworks have a playful aesthetic, appealing to anyone looking to brighten their day (and their walls!).
Due to the spontaneous nature of mono-printing and Erin's desire to constantly create new work, each artwork is completely original and once sold will never be reproduced.
Erin values the fast-paced, experimental qualities of mono-print and collage – enjoying the curious textures she can make using everything from her fingertips through to bottle tops and plant matter!
By running workshops that share her playful approach, Erin hopes to spark this creative curiosity in others – opposing the pressures that people usually associate with making art.
Happiest when in nature, and inspired by the joy and freedom it brings, Erin aims to look out for the environment where she can by up-cycling all "waste" that comes from her creative process and making a conscious effort to buy quality materials that are often recyclable, biodegradable and made in the UK.
