Inga is a Printed Textile Designer/Maker based in North Queensferry, Fife

Using a Vintage colour palette, Inga’s design inspiration comes from pattern, colour, texture, nature, and the Arts & Crafts movement.

She carves her unique designs from lino blocks and then, using non-toxic, water-based inks, prints onto Linen fabric woven locally in what is the last surviving mill in Fife. She then uses the printed fabric to create her range of sustainable Homewares and Accessories

Inga loves the whole process of hand printing ~ the mixing of the colours, the sound of rolling out the ink, and then the excitement of seeing the printed pattern develop when she lifts the lino block from the fabric

She is passionate about doing what she can to help protect the environment. She sources fabric and supplies locally wherever possible, which also helps support other UK based businesses

Her creative process aims to be sustainable, minimising wastage, and she uses plastic free packaging which is reusable or recyclable

Her vision is to have a business which champions Handmade and is sustainable and considerate for the world around us
