Bright Star Jewellery Scotland was launched in 2020, by Catie Gandhi. Each piece is designed and handmade by Catie in her studio in rural Aberdeenshire.

Catie is lucky to have beautiful mountains, forests, rivers, and beaches right on her doorstep, and she loves to look for patterns and textures in nature, using these in her designs. She also incorporates natural objects into her designs such as seeds, seed pods, broken pieces of bark, and shells.

Working in precious metals, using traditional silversmithing techniques, Catie loves the idea of being able to preserve some of the beauty of nature in a piece of jewellery, so that it can be enjoyed forever.
