A Croft Creative is the creative endeavours of fibre artist Heather Macfarlane , based in her croft in East Lothian . Trained in Tapestry and Printmaking at ECA is now she creates one of kind textile /fibre art based on her local environment with elements of embroidery and hand painting , she is also a brush/broom maker . Brush making is a endangered heritage craft which she is on a personal mission to revive using the indigenous plant fibres that where used traditionally in Scotland . She has exhibited internationally and is also available for custom bespoke art .
